Sure Foot Hikers

Day Hikes Logistics

The Sure Foot Hikers club meets twice a month for day hikes in some of the most beautiful places in the southeast. Register for a hike now! In the week before your hike, your guide will send you an email with logistics specific to your hike. Below, you’ll find general information that applies to all hikes, including legal waivers and medical information forms that are required for participation on all hikes.

Please contact us for more information.

What to Bring

We recommend that participants wear non-cotton clothing and shoes (or boots) with a rugged sole. Do not wear a brand new pair of footwear as this is a recipe for blisters and discomfort. Below is a list of items to bring on your hike:

  • Small backpack
  • Rain jacket or poncho
  • At least one liter of water
  • Sack lunch & snack
  • Optional items: sun hat, camera, binoculars

We provide insect repellent and sunscreen. Our guides are trained as Wilderness First Responders and carry a complete first aid kit. We also carry water purification in case you run out of water and need to refill your water bottle.

Legal & Medical

All participants must complete and sign a legal waiver by the day of the trip. We also ask that you complete and sign our medical information form three days prior to your hike. This form can be completed online or downloaded and mailed to Sure Foot Adventures.

Social Networking

We post photos from our hikes on the Sure Foot Adventures Facebook page.
